Kiddus I
Kiddus I is a reggae artist and a key member of the 1970s Kingston, Jamaica roots reggae scene. Kiddus began his musical career as a percussionist in the Rastafarian drumming group Ras Michael & The Sons of Negus. He has since recorded and played alongside some of the genre’s most legendary artists, including Lee “Scratch” Perry, Bob Marley, Aston “Family Man” Barrett, Earl “Chinna” Smith, and Bunny Wailer. Despite the proliferation of his work however, recordings of his own music have proven to be few and far between.
Naya Records is thrilled to present one of the most highly anticipated albums in recent times, Green Fa Life. The long-awaited solo album from Kiddus I heralds the return of the mysterious and captivating artist who first made a name for himself in the film Rockers (1977), before unexpectedly stepping away from the scene without a trace. Green Fa Life proves the years have been well worth the wait.
